Hear no evil, see no evil, speak whatever ...???

It seems that if you don't acknowledge evil to exist in the form that it does ...then you can for the most part speak anything flippant and irresponsible that you want, as long as it's not accurate or true.

“The great enemy of truth is very often not the lie--deliberate, contrived, and dishonest--but the myth--persistent, persuasive and unrealistic ...and too often we enjoy the comfort of opinion without the discomfort of thought." (John F. Kennedy)

If you entertain all, while attempting to be tolerant and caring, you may gain many friends.

But, friendship can be considered on many levels also.
And by various definitions.

When you invite all into your home, you can hope to gain friends, or you can lose the shirt off your back ...or perhaps even your home.

But that is not the worst that can happen.

"That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive; but speaking the truth in love, we are to grow up ..."  (Ephesians 4:14-15)

Pastor Tom says that God wants us to come to Him just as we are, but He doesn't want to leave us that way.

"I also will choose their delusions, and will bring their fears upon them, because when I called, none did answer, when I spoke, they did not hear; but they did evil before Mine eyes and chose that in which I delighted not."  (Isaiah 66:4)

(2 Thessalonians 2: 10-12) "...because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness."
